CareerSource Escarosa

CareerSource Escarosa is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the workforce needs of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. Classified as one of Florida’s 24 Regional Workforce Boards and a member of the CareerSource Florida Network, we provide employment and training resources for area job seekers and employers.

School District of Escambia County

The School District of Escambia County’s career academies are small learning communities within middle or high schools that focus on a career pathway for a two-, three-, or four-year span.

Students enter through a voluntary application process; they must apply and be accepted, with parental knowledge and support.

Locklin Tech

Locklin Technical Center is a community-oriented educational center which fosters an environment that develops positive student attitudes and achievement supported by active, involved educators, students, families, communities, businesses and agencies. All students will leave the center as life-long learners prepared to pursue a career, continue their education or training, and contribute to a changing society.

Pensacola State College

Pensacola State College, under the governance of a local Board of Trustees, is one of 28 public colleges in the Florida College System committed to affordable, open access to educational opportunities. The College offers baccalaureate and associate degrees, career oriented certificates, developmental education, adult education, GED preparation, and standard high school diplomas. In addition, the College provides specialized business and industry training, recreation and leisure courses, and community outreach and services.

Gulf Power Company is on the forefront of environmental stewardship, community and economic development and energy conservation. They are an investor-owned electric utility with all of their common stock owned by Atlanta-based Southern Company.
